Education for all

Since India's independence, primary and secondary education have made steady progress. However, there are numerous obstacles on the path to achieving the goal of universal education.

These include inadequate funding, physical infrastructure, and teacher quality. India spends only slightly more than 3% of its GDP on education, whereas every national education policy since 1968 has established a benchmark of 6%.

According to a June 2020 UNICEF report, school closures in India affected 247 million children in elementary and secondary education and 28 million children in pre-schools and Anganwadi centers. This is in addition to the over six million children who were away from school before the COVID-19 outbreak.

We are a non-profit organization that has been evolving government schools throughout India to make quality education and basic facilities available to all.

We aim to bridge the gap between urban and rural India by repairing and expanding schools and offering cutting-edge educational resources in rural India. Aarohan Trust / NGO is an educational social organization with a mission to provide children in rural India with access to quality education.

With the collaboration of local communities and volunteer teachers, we provide educational resources for children in rural areas.

Aarohan, which focuses on children aged 10 to 14, intends to employ technology to teach elementary education through government schools in distant and rural regions across India.

The action plan offers live, interactive classes in the local language through a robust ecosystem of partners. Various government schools in rural India provide their students with a quality education using standardized lesson plans and teaching materials.

As part of its digital innovation program, Aarohan helped more than 10K students in India and worked with more than 10 schools.

Aarohan Trust/NGO is an NGO that was created to give children from marginalized communities a safe and welcoming place to grow out after school and do activities that help them learn and grow.
