"The Right to Thrive”: Why Women's Empowerment and Child Welfare Matter?

Women's empowerment and child welfare are important issues that impact not only individuals but also communities and societies as a whole.

Indian women face various hardships daily. Women throughout history have struggled for equality. Many Indian women are sidelined and mistreated, preventing them from achieving success and respect. India has 245 million illiterate women. This restricts their social status and opportunities.

Along with this, In India, 29.6 million children live without parental care, or without the supervision of at least one parent. These children who have been temporarily or permanently separated from their birth families require competent alternative care for their protection. The brutal reality is that only 1.5% receive alternative care in a formal capacity.
